Literal place – as in where you put your body.
For a hot moment, I traveled to another city just to change it up. I wanted more access to the ocean so I thought it would be a winner. As soon as I got there, I felt mentally under siege and physically out of my body. My vibration tanked.
Has that ever happened to you?
It reminded me of that scene in Eat, Pray Love where a sexy Italian explained to Liz that every place has a word that captures the spirit or essence of the people in that town. If your word is the same, you’ll love the town.
And, if it isn’t, you’ll probably want to leave it.
So, what’s your word?
What is the word of the town in which you live?
How does your word and the word of the place align?
When I lived in Boulder, Colorado, I felt that the word of the place was SELF — getting a self, improving yourself, finding yourself, or caring for yourself. That fit me well because I was at the beginning of my spiritual path, and my old self was dissolving as a new self emerged.
Think back to your past places. How have they served your spiritual path?
Thankfully, yesterday I returned to my happy place in Mexico – the place where my word is aligned with its word: MAGIC. It’s like there’s unseen sparkle dust all around me, seeded from ancient times by an ancient people who dreamed the future — a world where below and above are connected by a single tree.
I want that kind of magic for you, too, whatever your word is, where ever you are. May this message illuminate your inner wisdom so that you can align with your highest expression in the place where you put your body – where you live, move, and have your being. You are at choice, and you deserve that level of congruence.
